Part 2 : THE STRUCTURE
What is structure? What is composition?

An architect do has a master plan of its building design. So do the designers. The difference is the medium and the mode of appearance.

I used to sketch on A3 paper and then translate it to digital form depends on the needs. Most of the time I use Flash to construct the structure and composition because I seldom use Photoshop. Anyway, the preference is depends to the oneself. You can use any kind of weapon to kill the big boss but its require skill to perform, especially when you have choice either a sword or a pisau lipat to kill him.

So what is the difference between structure and composition? Structure is the basic mainframe of the interface. The guide or the imaginary grid. Composition is the placement of the design elements such as picture or flash files on top of the structure. So it is so important and critical to solve the best structure for you web interface. The beauty of the composition will lies on the strength of the structure.

As for the khairulazizi.com website, here are the digital painting to represent the concept and the structure of the web. This is the first stage before I proceed to the next level where the construction of the composition and layout.
